About the role
This role supports the Purchasing and Logistics teams with order processing, supplier communication, item set-up and basic sourcing activities, helping to ensure smooth and efficient supply operations across an international environment.
The position contributes to the timely, cost-effective and compliant purchasing of materials, goods and services required by the organization, working closely with internal teams and suppliers in a dynamic and regulated setting. It is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to purchasing and logistics processes, collaborate with different stakeholders and continue learning in a global, patient-focused company.
Key responsibilities:
Set up suppliers and items in Navision, ensuring accurate and up-to-date master data.
Convert approved offers into purchase orders, send them to suppliers and follow up on delivery dates.
Register and track direct purchase orders, including IT equipment, mobile phones, cafeteria supplies, Amazon orders and other internal requests.
Record daily purchasing and logistics incidents, supporting follow-up actions and contributing to the annual review with the Quality department.
Monitor order status and follow up on deliveries, invoices and pending actions to ensure smooth purchasing operations.
Respond to internal queries related to purchasing processes, especially those connected to invoicing, order reception and warehouse coordination.
Prepare import and customs documentation, ensuring that all required paperwork is accurate, complete and compliant with applicable regulations.
Maintain regular contact with couriers and transport providers to follow up on shipments and help resolve delivery incidents.
Support invoicing processes by reviewing information, checking accuracy and coordinating with the relevant internal teams when needed.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics.
Experience in a regulated environment such as MedTech, Pharma, biotech or a similar industry will be considered an advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience working with ERP systems.
Knowledge of Navision will be considered a strong advantage.
Fluent level of Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
Detail-oriented and organized person, with strong communication skills.
Ability to work with different teams and stakeholders in a dynamic and changing environment.
