Payroll and Human Resources Administrator

Salary: $60K to $65
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Payroll and HR Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing end‑to‑end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding payroll matters. This position follows a hybrid schedule, working four days onsite and one day remote, to ensure strong collaboration with the HR and Finance teams and effective support for employees. In addition to payroll responsibilities, this role supports the North America HR team with day‑to‑day HR inquiries, employee data updates, and general HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration
Process payroll for USA and Canada on a bi-weekly schedule, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees.
Verify timekeeping records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Administer payroll deductions, including benefits contributions, garnishments, and taxes.
Maintain accurate payroll records and files.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll processes, including ADP.
Prepare payroll reports for management and assist with audits as needed.
HR Operations & Employee Support
Respond to daily HR inquiries from employees across North America.
Support employee lifecycle transactions, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data entry and reporting.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling employee information.
Assist with HR documentation, compliance tasks, and general HR operations.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
2–3 years of payroll administration experience; HR operations experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency with payroll software (ADP) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Comprehensive understanding of payroll regulations and tax compliance.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
