Key responsibilities:
The Head of Global Finance Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing the financial operations across all our international entities. This position ensures efficient, compliant, and accurate financial processes and reporting, supporting business growth and strategic goals. The position will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden or Valencia, Spain.
Lead, manage and develop global finance operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and transactional processes.
Drive standardization, digitalization and continuous improvement of financial processes across regions to provide efficient and qualitative back-end support.
Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business units and senior management to support strategic initiatives.
Implement and optimize finance systems and automation to enhance operations.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance operations team.
Attracting and developing the right competencies and talents for the future modern Finance function
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Finance Operations, compliance and reporting processes
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience leadership and change management experience in multinational finance operations role
Strong knowledge of global accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced international environment
Proven track record of managing a SSC organization in a global environment
Proven track record of process digitalization, standardization and automation
Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
You will be reporting to the CFO. Only applications in English will be part of selection process.
