Senior Platform Engineer – Hybrid Compute & EUC
At the Vitrolife Group, we work every day to unlock the full potential of science and technology to reduce the barriers towards building a family. Together we help our customers and their patients to fulfill the dream of having a baby.
Are you passionate about platform engineering, automation, and delivering boring, predictable infrastructure at scale? We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to own and evolve our hybrid compute and End‑User Computing (EUC) platform, spanning on‑prem virtualization and Azure.
Your mission is to design, automate, and operate a platform that enables teams to deliver secure, standardized digital workplaces—without friction or manual work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will own the virtualization and EUC platform end‑to‑end, including on‑prem virtualization and deep integration with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix. By defining reference architectures, automation standards, and guardrails, you’ll ensure the platform scales predictably as demand grows.
You act as a platform authority and enabler, providing reusable patterns and self‑service capabilities—so application and workplace teams can focus on delivering value, not infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the architecture and lifecycle of hybrid compute and EUC platforms.
Design and operate Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix at scale
Build and maintain golden images and standardized VM templates
Lead Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Packer.
Build and govern CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
Drive automation‑first, self‑service platform principles
YOUR PROFILE
Strong experience with on‑prem virtualization (Hyper‑V / Azure Local; VMware a plus)
Hands‑on expertise with Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix
Deep understanding of automation, IaC, and platform engineering.
Understanding of ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, and related frameworks
Ability to design scalable, resilient platforms—not just operate them
A mindset focused on simplification, standardization, and enablement
