Accountant

We are seeking an experienced accountant to own their daily and monthly responsibilities while being a key individual that will streamline processes across multiple legal entities and is proactive at identifying process efficiencies and implementing change. The accountant will also work to improve internal and external stakeholder experience with Vitrolife Group. The role requires precision, collaboration, and an ability to execute tasks with a high level of accuracy.
Salary: $31.25 to $36.05 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage multiple bank accounts across three legal entities
- Post incoming and outgoing payments in ERP
- Reconcile bank activity to general ledger
- Process outgoing payments via ACH, wire and physical check
- Facilitate intercompany netting and payment.
- Streamline processes across legal entities, identify inefficiencies and initiate change to processes
2. Accounts Payable Management:
- Process vendor invoices into ERP and approval systems.
- Conduct purchase order (PO) matching.
- Handle outgoing payment processing and post to ERP systems.
- Manage vendor inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy.
- Facilitate intercompany netting processes.
- Support Finance Service Center as needed.
3. Month-End Close Assistance:
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger.
- Bank reconciliations
- Reconcile AP and AR ledgers
- Invoice accruals
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Support Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager, as needed
4. Financial Administrative Support:
- Assist with a variety of financial administrative tasks, as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a related role.
- Experience in accrual accounting and monthly close processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
