Business Development Manager

Mission
Drive business growth and market expansion for Vitrolife across Mexico by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts and commercial channels. This role will be instrumental in strengthening Vitrolife’s presence in the IVF, diagnostics, and medical devices sectors through both direct customer engagement and channel support.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IVF, diagnostics, and medical device markets in Mexico.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with fertility clinics, laboratories, hospitals, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
• Develop and execute regional strategies to increase market share and expand Vitrolife’s footprint.
• Support commercial channels where applicable, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand positioning.
• Lead the full business development cycle: prospecting, customer engagement, needs analysis, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, scientific support, R&D) to deliver value-added solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to identify growth areas and inform strategic decisions.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, maintain CRM data, and deliver regular reporting to senior leadership on performance and pipeline.
• Participate in regional industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to represent Vitrolife and build thought leadership.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial management in the healthcare, IVF, or diagnostics sector.
• Experience working in or with clinical labs, IVF centers, or hospital environments.
• Strategic mindset with excellent planning, organizational, and execution skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead by influence, foster collaboration, and drive results in a cross-cultural and matrix environment.
• Knowledge of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) and relevant healthcare regulations is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in Spanish, and English is required.
• Willingness to travel (50–75%).
